One often needs to do a quick Print of a worksheet or part thereof. In the old days, this required either scissors, sticky tape and glue or a radical manipulation of one’s spreadsheet layout. Now there are some neat features in the printing options of Excel which can help avoid all that!

Printing Selection:
If you just want to print a portion of your spreadsheet, simply highlight the Cells that you want to Print and then under your Print Settings change from Print Active Sheet to Print Selection.

Scaling the content to fit on One Page:
Sometimes the content we want to Print doesn’t quite fit on one page which can be frustrating. Some columns may push over to a new page or sometimes we have a few too many rows. There are a couple of solutions to this…
1. Make the Margins narrower
2. Resize column widths or Row heights
3. Change font size

BUT by far the simplest solution is to Change the scaling option within the Print settings to Fit Sheet on One Page. This automatically scales down the Print area to fit on one page. This is perfect if you want a quick 1-pager of your spreadsheet - with the only limit being your eyesight to read the reduced font size!
