What's your manager or more senior dev going to think if you need to ask for clarity on priorities?
If you need to ask for clarification on what's most important... there's absolutely no harm in it.
In fact -- I strongly encourage that you do.
As much as I want to empower my own team to make decisions about priorities because we're aligned on our goals and values, it's completely unrealistic to expect that everyone knows all of the time. There's no harm in asking, and it's very likely that it only results in better focus.
