How to Import and Export Audio in Audacity
In this tutorial, you will learn how to import and export audio in Audacity.
Part 1: Importing
Click on the "File" menu, point to "Import", then select the "Audio" option. The Open window will appear. Select the audio file you want to import, then click on "Open". This will import the audio file.
Part 2: Exporting
Click on the "File" menu, point to "Export", then select the "Export as MP3" option. The "Export Audio" window will appear. Give a name to the audio file and choose a location for it. To save the audio file in a different format, click on the "Save as type" drop-down list and then select the desired format. Click on the "Save" button. Click OK when a dialog box appears. This will export the audio file.
