How to create labels in Gmail? (Gmail Tips & Tricks)
To keep your inbox organized, Gmail labels are very useful. They work like Outlook folders, but they are much more powerful in the sense that an email can have multiple labels, while in Outlook it can’t be in multiple folders.
To create a new label in Gmail, follow these simple steps:
Open Gmail.com and access the settings
From the settings, head to the “Labels” tab
Scroll down to the “Create new label” button
Enter the name of your label and nest it if you want (optional)
Once your label is created, you can labelize any email with that label:
Access your primary inbox from Gmail
Select any email that you want to labelize (you can select multiple emails)
Click on the “label” icon, then select your label
