AskRail App
The AskRail app, launched in 2014, is a collaborative effort among the emergency response community and all North American Class I railroads. The app provides responders with immediate access to up-to-date information about what type of hazmat a railcar is carrying, emergency contact information for Class I railroads and Amtrak, and a map with isolation zones so they can make an informed decision about how to respond to a rail emergency.
