Farm Thralls! Use a primary ammo weapon for your energy, and have sniper scavenger + special ammo finder on your armor.
A warlock with well of radiance / healing rift + Luna is best, but this will work for any class! It shouldn't take more than 2-3 runs to complete.
Just be careful with dying, as the spawns can be weird in Whisper.
