Collar (2015)
"Collar" is a tense crime drama thriller about the fight for justice and personal reputation. The main character, Detective Timothy James "TJ" Williams, faces a life crisis after a botched police operation. His career is in jeopardy, his family life is falling apart, and his longstanding friendship with Police Chief Hamilton Markham turns into a conflict. The chief, aiming to become mayor, along with the current mayor, who dreams of a Senate seat, uses the situation for their own political gain, making Williams a scapegoat.
Meanwhile, an influential activist and clergyman, Rev. Alonso Sparks, steps into the fray, seeking to expose corruption within the police system. For TJ, this becomes a double blow: the system he once served betrays him, and someone he respected aids in discrediting him. However, with the support of his loyal partner, Angel Santangelo, TJ decides not to give up.
Summoning all his resolve, Williams returns to the field to prove his innocence and restore his honor. He enters a dangerous game against political schemes, corruption, and betrayal, risking everything he holds dear. "Collar" is a story about a man who, despite overwhelming odds, refuses to back down, determined to reclaim control over his life.
