[Touhou] Bad Apple!! nomico × Cristina Vee [Merged]
I have had this idea for quite some time now, and executed it a while ago.
Could it be made better? Probably.
Am I content with the result? Of course.
Truth be told, I believe it is commendable how well the cover aligns with the original version.
The English vocals come from the accomplished voice actor Cristina Vee Valenzuela, who also voices both Bennett and Xingqiu in Genshin Impact. She has a very versatile voice.
Also, her voice is sometimes rather obscured, probably because of some inconsistencies in the source sound levels.
However, she doesn't sing this section towards the end (4:38), and it is skipped altogether:
Ugoku no naraba ugoku no naraba
Subete kowasu wa subete kowasu wa
Kanashimu naraba kanashimu naraba
Watashi no kokoro shiroku kawareru?
So I had to take some liberties there and do some minor modifications of my own.
I personally like how it turned out...
The background video, looped by me, is from around the 11th minute mark of the 3rd episode of "Gensou Mangekyou ~The Memories of Phantasm~", a fan-made animated video series. This episode in question is titled 「The Scarlet Mist Incident (Part Two)」.
P.S. I have never played Touhou myself. I don't even know what the story is about...
