In game we want the character to look at things in the environment as they pass by. Giving a "hint" to the player there is something of interest there.
Traditionally you could use Aim Offsets to achieve this. Playing more with Control Rig and using it's Pose Cache to move the characters arms when she looks behind her to move in a more believable way.
In game we don't plan to allow the gaze to shift behind the protagonist from left to right, which is why we haven't blended it. If we need it we can.
