Being a veterinarian can be an incredibly rewarding job, it might even be the best job in the world. Let me take you into my world as a companion animal GP veterinarian as I discuss the five best things about being a veterinarian. This is clearly going to be quite a personal list. Is being a veterinarian worth it? Well, there are so many different jobs that we veterinarians can do, and as a result, something that I really love (or hate) may well generate the exact opposite emotion in many other vets.

3 - Daily variety
4 - Practical not paperwork
5 - Working with animals
