Select Niche For Affiliate Marketing - how I am choosing the niche for my first website and blog in Project Genesis.
Spending some to and effort in selecting an appropriate niche for any affiliate marketing or blogging effort is important. I am expecting a lot more competition now that I will target US and Global traffic setting up my different websites and blogs.
Therefore it is important for me to start with a niche having relatively low competition so that I don't loose faith. A niche with low competition keywords will help getting impressions a bit sooner that keywords belonging to a high competition niche.
So, in this video I will share the details and process behind how a decided both my high-level affiliate marketing niche as well as some still open questions that I will answer later on this week, as Project Genesis continues.

Done some research during the week and come up with some candidate niches in the top level niche “Pets”
Low comp and (of course) low CPC → low income

build a bigger site with sub-niches inside it, or…
build small separate site(-s) with only focus on the sub-(sub-)niche?
use an aged domain, or
build on a brand new domain?
use existing hosting or new hosting located in US?
