This video will guide you through how to convert your existing Word documents to PDF files the easy way. In about 5 minutes you will know how to do it using a free software called PDF Creator.
First of all, I have prepared a sample Microsoft Word file on my desktop. To start converting my word to pdf first I need to set up a virtual PDF printer. There are a whole arsenal of software products for that but I tend to use PDF Creator because it's fee and it's easy to understand.
How to Convert Word to PDF
Step 1 — Download and set up PDF Creator, it's a free virtual printer
Step 2 — Open your Word document the usual way
Step 3 — Click print, and select "PDFCreator" in the dropdown list as your default printer.
Step 4 — Click OK, and in the next window click SAVE
Step 5 — Define an output folder and click SAVE again.
With these five simple steps you will be able to convert word to pdf anytime, with just a few clicks. It's not rocket science and everyone can do it. Portable documents are good especially if you want to distribute your work online or pass it on to your friends or colleagues.
