How’s THIS for a drag race line-up!
We’ve teamed up with Red Bull & Toyota, and they’ve brought their Dakar Rally Hilux to go up against Mat in a Toyota Land Cruiser GR Sport!
So let’s see how these two epic contenders stack up. Starting with the Land Cruiser, it’s powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 that can put down 415hp and 650Nm of torque. Power’s delivered to all four wheels by a 10-speed automatic gearbox, and it’s pretty heavy, tipping the scales at 2,630kg!
And then we have the Dakar Hilux. It’s also equipped with a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6, but the power output has been limited to 361hp and 650Nm. However, it’s much lighter than the Land Cruiser, weighing in at 2,000kg.
So how’s this one going to play out? Will the Hilux walk it when they go head-to-head on the tarmac? And more importantly, will it snatch the win when it's on sand?! There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
