AEF NEFL Eagles ~ Visitor Attempts To Mate With Gabby! 😲 Nest Work Begins With Stick & Moss 9.21.24
The Visitor & Gabby spent the night together and in the morning Gabby drops to the nest to do some aerating. She then will fly to the wallenda and suddenly the visitor jumps on her back & attempts to mate with her!! 😲 It was not a successful copulation as Gabby tail did not move to the side. He flew onto of her so fast, I bet Gabby was surprised by this bold move!
The visitor then hops back to the branch. Gabby & the visitor hang out at the nest tree for a couple of hours. V flies off and he will return with some moss for the nest! Gabby is there to help spread it. Then Gabby flies off & returns with a big stick. Nest work is beginning for the eagles. Beau has not been seen since Tuesday Sept 17th after he spent hours in the nest.
We don't know what the future holds for Gabby, the Visitor and Beau right now. Gabby is very comfortable with V and he obviously wants to be the male on the nest! We will continue to watch & observe the eagles & see what unfolds. Thank you for watching!
