Bypass restrict-access password in MS Word
Use this technique to bypass restrict-access password from Word document in case you lost the password and unable to make changes to the document.
1.'Save as' document in .XML format.
2.Edit XML file and search 'enforcement'
3.Change value of 'enforcement' from '1' to '0'
4.Now, you will be able to modify the document
5.Save back the XML document as word document.
Note : This technique won't work if the whole word document is protected by the password itself instead of just the access-restrict part.
