Hi guys, in continuation of our C++ series, I've made this video explaining how to build a Clothing System for the Character
In this video you'll see:
1) How to create Skeletal Mesh and Static Mesh components for the character and create the proper hierarchy in it
2) How to bind all existent skeletal meshes to follow the main mesh Animation Instance (Blueprint)
3) How to switch/update clothing items and attach them to your character
4) How to update the character status/attributes with the Gameplay Ability System on attaching new items
Keep in mind that a similar approach could be used if you need to use dismemberment into our characters/enemies based on damage taken.
