What good is a Data Center if it only connects to other Data Centers?
Not much (in case you’re wondering)…
In this video, we will modify and redeploy our connectivity templates, create a few new connectivity templates, and build connectivity for host networks in our Tenant-1 overlay Routing Zone (VRF) to a simulated network core.
Like most things in networking, there is more than one way to get this connectivity setup, with each way offering pros and cons. I’ll explain these methods, why you might use one vs. the other, and then I’ll show you both, using a different workflow for each DC fabric in our lab.
This work will set us up for the next video, where we’ll build out connectivity to the public Internet without touching Apstra or our fabrics.
