This is a really impressive platform for learning English which has an excellent free option. This covers all the skills. So ideal for speaking, listening, writing, reading and developing vocabulary. The free option is very impressive. It builds around video content and focuses on developing listening, reading, vocabulary and even speaking skills. I am very surprized at just how generous the free tool is.
Eigo.AI is a Japanese company. They make their money through the adverts so the content on the site is free. This is the first really complete AI technology that I have seen for learning English that is basically a free course that coveres all the skills. I really like the way the content is connected together. So the video connects to the reading which then connects to the speaking activity etc.
In this video, I take you through exactly how to use this platform and we focus on the free option. So first of all, I show you how to log in and then I show you how to search for material. There's absolutely loads of material on this site and there's even different levels. I then show you how to actually work through the material. The material always starts with a video and the nice thing is the audio is very clear and it includes subtitles. Afterwards, the students are then asked to read the text and you can even click on the text to check the definition of words. There is then some questions to check your understanding of the text and you get immediate feedback. In fact, on this platform, everything is tracked even in the free option which is really impressive. After working through the reading, you then have a listening activity where you have to complete the gaps. So this builds on your vocabulary as well as your listening skills. The next activity is very impressive because it's a pronunciation activity. You're given sentences and you're asked to listen and then repeat and you will get immediate feedback on your pronunciation. This is one of the most impressive features on the site. Then there is a review section. And finally, there is even a writing section where you basically write up a summary of everything that you've learned during the whole process of watching the video and doing the activities and you get immediate feedback on that, again, using an AI technology. For me this has to be one of the most impressive AI technologies for learning English on the internet at the moment. It's almost like a complete course. And there are various levels
