Hello guys! In this video, we will look at how you can host your Next.js apps on Cloudflare workers. Cloudflare recently announced that OpenNext (an initiative that wants Next.js to be deployable on all hosting platforms) now supports Node runtime support in Cloudflare workers. Previously, Next.js was supported but through Cloudflare Pages and using the Edge Runtime i.e. the Worker Runtime. Now, OpenNext has patched a lot of Node APIs to work with the Worker runtime.
In this video, we will try and deploy a Next.js app to Cloudflare workers. Note that deployment is not free, it requires 5$. Although, you have good rate limits moving forward. Please refer to Cloudflare pricing.
