You Should Ride Your Gravel Bike Like This! The Drivetrain On My Raleigh Tamland 2 is Better!
1x groupsets and gravel bike build have been all the rage for a few years now. Many had already been modifying their bikes for a SRAM mullet set up and now Shimano has GRX and Campagnolo has the Ekar. I still would rather ride with a Shimano road gruppo with two chain rings up front - on this bike it is 11 speed Shimano 105. This bicycle would have come new with Shimano Ultegra 11 speed but with much to small of a cassette in the back. I now have an 11x32 but plan to upgrade to a 34 when I can get my hands on one - I used to have it set up that way when it was a 9 speed build.
