"Special Operations Isn't Elite"
An article in Business insider written by a Special Operations Forces Air Force LT Col. states the opinion that the military members in Special Operations Forces are not in fact "elite," just special. Angry Drill SGT thinks this Airman is just playing semantics with Webster's Dictionary. The level of effectiveness an organization can maintain is based on the mindset of the individuals inside that military unit and the availability of training they can receive.
