Tribal Girls Work as Daily Labor clears JEE Mains exam | Trending Takes
Rohini, 18, a girl from the tribal community in the Pachamalai Hills of Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu, scripted history by becoming the first tribal girl from her district to crack the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) exams.
According to news agency ANI, Rohini scored 73.8 per cent in the JEE Mains, securing admission to NIT Trichy.
The viral video shows Rohini’s village house, wherein she is seen cooking on the wood fire, and their farm.
