19. January 23, 1984. George's first stand-up on Late Night. Then a chat with Dave.
Into the break, the band plays "Sleep Walk" by Santo and Johnny. By the end of the year, it would become George's walk-on music. In an AOL Live Auditorium Q&A on November 17, 1997, Paul Shaffer was asked, "What's the significance of introducing George Miller with 'Sleep Walk?'" Paul: "That has been a request of his since his first appearance on the show and God knows why his perverse sense of humor finds that funny."
20. September 11, 1984. Stand-up and chat. The first time with the waiter joke.
21. December 13, 1984. Stand-up and chat. George's first walk-on and walk-off music with "Sleep Walk." Eddie Murphy drops by.
