My name is Oleg Stonko.
I was born and raised in Crimea. I have been going to the mountains since childhood and love to travel. But since I never had large bank accounts, hitchhiking became my main method of transportation.
By hitchhiking, with rare use of buses and trains, and most importantly - without planes, I visited 40 countries of the world: from Belgium to Vietnam and from Norway to Mongolia.
Moving around the earth is the best way to get to know our planet better: to see how mountains turn into deserts, and people of one nationality are gradually replaced by another. This all happens gradually, kilometer by kilometer. And these metamorphoses are truly fantastic.
