What’s Happening Roland
This is the update for the second week of July. I just got back from a big filming trip to Mexico, Texas and Louisiana. I’ve not fished this week because of editing work on all the footage. Filming on Toledo Bend Resevoir got my thinking about my first tournament ever I fished there in 1970 where I placed 2nd and launched my career. I continued to do phenomenal for the rest of that year and then Ray Scott of B.A.S.S. Hired me to do a year long seminar tour , 103 cities from Connecticut to California! What crazy times we had driving that big ole Bluebird bus. The end result was that we grew membership in just one year from 60,000 to 167,000. I hooked my wagon to the B. A. S. S. Train in 1970 ,and I’ve be tooling along ever since! What a ride!
