Although the idea of optimizing your system to utilize available hardware more effectively may sound appealing, the reality often falls short of expected performance levels.
As we've recently discovered, enabling hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in both Windows 10 and 11 doesn't result in improved performance for NVIDIA GPUs while denoising footage. On the contrary, it actually slows down Neat Video processing. Our own tests have revealed a 30% decrease in speed, though your results may vary depending on factors such as CPU, memory, and other components of your computer.
The problem seems to be lying with the current NVIDIA driver, which hopefully will be fixed soon.
