This amazing video was completely edited in Avid Media Composer, in combination with Pro-Tools, Photoshop, Apple Motion, and After Effects using the Element 3D plug-in.

For Facebook advertising, you really need a 15 second video. That proved to be super challenging to tell a quick story about GeniusDV’s services. youtub
To produce this 15 second video was WAY harder than we thought. Just within Avid Media Composer, the sequence contains 30 layers. However, that's nothing compared to the number of Layers in After Effects which equates to 100’s of layers.
We found creating clean 3D logos with reflections is challenging if you do not have a perfect vector of your logo(s). If you want to learn Avid Media Composer, it's good idea to become familiar with After Effects.
Its possible Adobe Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve may have been a better editing choice. However, our fear was the about constant rendering and how media is managed media. Also, our editors are much more efficient using Media Composer.
We also discovered, after around 10 video layers, our maxed-out Mac Mini M2 Pro was struggling processing all 30 layers in real-time that contained alpha channels.
Surprisingly, we did not have to render much until the very end.
