Learning VBA: Adding missing dates and replacing missing observations with previous value in Excel
In this video, we solve a missing data issue in Excel. The data set consists of several different time series where all weekends and holidays are missing. We use a Visual basic for Applications (VBA) subroutine to add the missing dates and then a few worksheet tricks to replace missing observations with data from the previous observation.
