What happens when an artwork gets too much light? Is aging reversible? Can you predict the future of a painting?

In this episode of Becoming Artsy, Jessie goes into the laboratory to run an experiment with Getty Conservation Institute's Michael Doutre to find out how scientists help extend the life of artworks. Jessie also learns how an artwork might change over time and how that affects our perception of art. In other words, what you see on a museum wall today may look a little different than what people saw hundreds of years ago.
