Hey everyone! Today, I’m sharing some of my favorite childhood memories with my Atari 800XL. This little machine was a big part of my life, thanks to my father , Samuel.
In this video, I’ll take you back to the days when we’d spend hours together coding in BASIC and playing classic games like Pong and Missile Command. My dad would patiently guide me through writing my first lines of code, holding a programming book while I typed away on the keyboard. Those moments were pure magic.
We had so much fun with those chunky cartridges and cassette tapes, and the excitement of seeing the game screen pop up on our old TV was unbeatable. It wasn’t just about the games—it was about learning, bonding, and sparking a lifelong passion for technology.
Stick around till the end for some advice from me about why learning to code is super important today. Trust me, it’s a skill that can open up so many doors, especially with how quickly technology is changing the world.
Thanks for watching! Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more stories and tech tips. Share your own retro computing memories in the comments below—I’d love to hear them!
