Arch Linux Malware Attack - July 2018 AUR Injection
Early in July of 2018 a user by the name xeactor tried to inject several Arch Linux AUR packages with a data collection malware script.
It was detected and eliminated very quickly, but you really need to be careful about install AUR packages.
