Step-by-step guide
Step 1 - Start a new project:
Begin by clicking on the "New project" button. You can start from scratch or import an existing file. The left panel displays all elements, allowing you to organize them into groups and assign names for easy access and management.
Step 2 - Element customization:
Manipulating elements on the canvas is a breeze. We showcase this by making fill color adjustments to the toaster group's elements.
Step 3 - Keyframe animation
Set up keyframes on the timeline for each desired effect. For smooth transitions hold down the shift key while adjusting the playhead. You can extend the timeline by dragging the marker.
Step 4 - Creating the loader
Creating a loading animation begins with drawing the loader by using shapes and strokes.
Step 5 - Self-drawing effect
Use the Stroke offset animator for the loader animation, synchronize its movement with the toaster's motion.
Step 6 - Animate reflections
Animate the reflection group on the toaster's front element using a clipping mask.
Step 7 - Achieve seamless looping effect:
To ensure a flawless looping effect, use Opacity and Scale animators for the loader to disappear.
Step 8 - Export the Lottie animation
At the export panel you can choose settings such as frames per second, then hit the Export button to get your Lottie animation.
