Get all the drills and progressions that I use with my NBA players to increase their shooting range
Range is the thing most young players want to develop.
But there are some things you need to understand... range without the ability to MAKE shots is wasted.
The goal is to be able to MAKE more shots, not just to be able to SHOOT from further away. So if you are struggling to make shots consistently from closer in, THAT is where you need to start.
And once you can MAKE SHOTS consistently from closer in, THEN you can start to worry about increasing your range.
To do that, you need to get more body parts working TOGETHER, and in the SAME DIRECTION.
And then you need to be patient. Once you learn to get everything working together your range will increase some, but only to a point. You won't immediately be shooting from the logo.
A lot of your RANGE comes from your physical strength, and if you are a young player you'll need to be patient as that develops.
