Chapter II" is their ninth original album, released one year after "The Highlight" in June 2022. While retaining the nostalgic yet new atmosphere of the previous album, the sound has been further broadened and matured to create an album filled with the "now" of Sexy Zone's true selves.
The lead track "Purple Rain" is a mixture of two colours: "red" for the image of burning love, and "blue" for the image of calm, watchful love, and "purple" for a mixture of both: The straightforward yet glamorous, masculine lyrics and unique phrases are also catchy.
The music video is based on the image of 'Sexy Zone going out on the town at night with music'.
The music video features prisms, animations and other detailed effects to accompany the fast-paced sound.
The dance scene is set in a space reminiscent of 80's disco with circular tube lights, mirror balls, etc. The members dance in playful costumes with a streetwise feel, accompanied by six dancers, and the dynamic performance with a sense of movement is remarkable.
The neck and chest isolation in the intro, the unique camera work and the choreography to catch the "Romantic Dance" and "Purple Rain" at the beginning of the chorus are also key points.
