I designed a viewers guitar and he built one for me! | The Raven (feat. Nevermore Guitars)
"I'll build you a guitar, if you build me a guitar"... Last year I was approached by the owner of Nevermore Guitars to help him make the switch from hand built guitars to CNC. What I didn't know is that this would end up being one of the coolest projects I've ever worked on. I helped them take a napkin sketch of their new concept guitar "The Raven" and bring it to life in CAD.
And in a twist, this wasn't done for payment, but rather trading skills. I built built his guitar (in Fusion 360) and he built me that guitar (real deal).
In this video I tell the story of how this project got started, showcase the modeling process (summarized), and unbox my new "Raven" series guitar.
