The Tie DIY!
Dying fabric and transforming old clothes can bring a lot of fun and is a great way to stimulate our creativity!
I absolutely love the uniqueness of Tie Dye.
Every piece of clothing ends up with different color mix and patterns. You never know what it is going to look like so the surprise and the big WOW is always at the end!
With the use of fabric dying, I managed to bring back to life a few old hoodies and t-shirts this season!
I am very happy with my new DIY designs!

I am starting from wrapping the jumper with the string. Obviously you can use rubber bands but I did not have any, string is also good if you tie it strong enough!
Ones wrapping is finished I can start dyeing my jumper. I am doing it in a bowl indoors but if you have the space I recommend doing it outside or in the bathroom. Before applying the dye I am adding dye salt. I am using black color for now to see how it comes out.
Leave the jumper in the bowl for few hours or for the night. I left mine for 3 hours.
Then unwrap, rince it with cold water and quick wash in the washing machine.
Afterwords I have decided to add some tulip pink color to it. I have repeated all the steps again.
After washing and drying , colors look great!
I really like beads and crystal stones and I think this jumper is going to look great with some of them. So let's stitch a few of them on each side of the pocket!
