Building My Log Home Pt. 3 - Setting the First Logs!
The building has officially started on my log home, the first logs are placed and notched! The logs are looking beautiful and I am so glad to get the base of the building done! It was a lot of work and figuring to get the sill logs right and the building started properly, but now that the base of the home is complete it will be much easier to work on the next logs in the wall!

I have lived offgrid in the bush for over 3 years, but now I am moving to the next chapter in my life and am building a big log home as my next place to live. It is going to be an incredible journey building my own home. I am using logs I harvested myself and plan to do most of the work by myself. This project will be the main focus of my channel, with many other adventures along the way im sure!
