Although Kim Jong Un appears committed to securing a quantitatively and qualitatively growing nuclear and missile arsenal, the U.S.-ROK alliance remains strong and united in their cooperation to deter the growing North Korea threat. Mr. Sydney Seiler, the U.S. Intelligence Community's National Intelligence Officer for North Korea, shared with CSIS his thoughts on these and related issues, and walk through recently declassified key judgments of a National Intelligence Estimate on the subject.
