Network engineers don't have to deal with people, right? They deal with IP addresses and DNS and DHCP scopes and switch VLANs. People interact through help desk tickets. Wrong, wrong, wrong. One of your roles as a network engineer is going to be that of people manager. And I don't mean other network engineers, I mean vendors.
