This Needs To Be Clarified In The Mandalorian!
Mandalorian showrunner Jon Favreau has said in a recent interview that Mandalorian seasons 1 and 2 actually take place over many years! In a podcast interview done by Skytalkers, Favreau mentioned the length of time in the Mandalorian covered by the first two seasons, which spanned "many years," but did not clarify exactly how long that period is. He also said that two years passed between The Book of Boba Fett episodes 6 and 7 and the Season 2 conclusion. Whereas in the final two episodes of "The Book of Boba Fett," Grogu abandoned his training to rejoin Din Djarin. I know it all sounds confusing but take a look at this short clip of Favreau talking about Grogu in the interview! Even though when you watch both the Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, it doesn’t look like there are many years spanned out between the shows but we’ll just have to take Favreau’s word on it!
