Ally, WinDeck, Windows: System Restore Points (Creating and Rolling Back)
If something goes wrong with Windows, it is usually because something changed; you deleted something, virus or malware - or sometimes a device just suddenly stops working when it was working just a few minutes before.
System Restore Points in Windows snapshots critical files and allows you to restore them in these cases. You can even restore a point if you cannot fully boot to Windows!
We'll show you how to MANUALLY take a restore point and then how to restore it in a couple of different ways.
While this video focuses on the Asus Ally (since I lost my controls out of nowhere) - it also works with a Windows on Deck scenario as well. Of course, any machine that runs Windows can use this trick too!
