Hey guys, John here with realtruck.com. Today I want to show you how to install the Putco Pop Up Truck Bed Rails on this 2015 GMC Sierra Denali 2,500. We've got everything laid out here. You can see that this come with everything you need to install this. Comes with your locker castings, your rails and all of your mounting hardware and cover plates, and these are going to look really cool on this truck. So let's get these on the truck.
So the first step in installing our rails is to cut out these covers that are on our bed rail caps. And you can do this pretty easily with some type of rotary tool, like a Dremel, or if you don't have that you can actually cut these out by drilling a hole in the center, and using a hacksaw blade and going around it, you can do it that way as well. And all you have to do is just follow the line. It's already kind of stamped in there, so of course we want to make sure we're wearing appropriate safety gear, and let's get that cut out of there.
Okay, once we have this cut all the way around, then what we're going to do is we're just going to grab a screwdriver and stick it underneath there and pop that out. Take your razor blade and just trim up the edges a little bit. And then we will be ready to put our end piece together and put it in here. 866-554-0581 Free shipping for orders over $100!
