In this video we will see how to make a remote tester circuit using IC LM358 and photodiode and breadboard. This circuit can be used to check any IR remote e.g a TV remote or an AC remote.
When the photodiode receives IR light from the remote, it causes the led to blink thus indicating that the remote is working properly.
We can also use a buzzer as the output in place of led. In this case if the remote is working properly then the buzzer beeps.
Components used:
1.Breadboard
2. IC LM358
3.Photodiode
4.10k preset (variable resistor)
5.10k Resistor.
6. 330 Ω Resistor
7. LED
8. Jumper Wires
9. 9V Battery
