This song got its start with an unusual exhibit in a park that featured the sounds of children laughing and having a wonderful time coming from speakers hidden among the rocks. Joe tapped into that idea that some people wait around forever for something to happen when actually it's always happening, and we shouldn't be waiting for anything, we should be doing. He wanted to write a little piece about that melancholy feeling that you might descend into for a few moments... "I'm waiting for this to happen and then everything will be great."
