Xur sells exotic armor pieces, one for each class (Titan, Hunter, Warlock) every week. He also sells a random exotic weapon and two exotic weapon bundles with ornament. To buy exotic armor and weapon from Xur you will need Strange Coins. To buy exotic weapon bundles you will need Strange Coins and Silver Dust.
You can also buy several other useful items from Xur for Strange Coins like Heavy Ammo Synthesis, Three of Coins, Glass Needles, Exotic Shard and Mote of Light.
Xur is in great form this week. Buying recommendation: 5/6.
Titan: Crest of Alpha Lupi exotic chest armor - Revive fallen teammates and be revived faster, Supers generate an extra Orb. One of the most useless exotics, buy it only to complete your collection.
Hunter: Crest of Alpha Lupi exotic chest armor - Revive fallen teammates and be revived faster, Supers generate an extra Orb. One of the most useless exotics, buy it only to complete your collection.
Warlock: Astrocyte Verse exotic helmet - Temporary increase to Recovery on Blink. This is one of the most beautiful armor pieces in Destiny, unfortunately it provides too little benefits and there are much better exotics for a Warlock. Buy it only to complete your collection.
Weapon: Hard Light exotic auto rifle - Rounds fired from this weapon have no damage falloff, overpenetrate targets and ricochet off hard surfaces. Once it was a very good weapon, but by now lost its edge. It might be still good in the crucible though, buy it only to complete your collection.
Weapon Bundle: Mida Multi-Tool and Special Ops exotic scout rifle. This weapon boosts move speed and fires on a hair trigger. This is a very good scout rifle especially in the crucible. Definitely BUY it.
Weapon Bundle: Telesto and Queen’s Command exotic fusion rifle. Multikills with this weapon spawn Orbs for your allies. Fusion projectiles attach and detonate with a delayed Void blast. Telesto is one of the best weapons in Destiny, it is very good in both PVE and PVP, definitely BUY it.
