Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos just got a double dose of great news! It wasn't too long ago when waiver season was a chance for us to pick players off the scrap heap of other NFL teams, but the table has turned. The Denver Broncos actually had SEVERAL players who Sean Payton didn't see as good enough to make this team who got picked up by Super Bowl contenders. Tim Patrick was signed by the Detroit Lions, Samaje Perine was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs, Jalen Virgil was signed by the Buffalo Bills. This truly shows that the Denver Broncos roster is so much better than anyone is giving us credit for. When contenders come rummaging through your discards for a scrap of talent, it shows you are in a good place. I've said time and time again that the Denver Broncos will have players who sign to great teams and make a difference and it's coming true.
The other big news of the day is that Donald Parham was signed by the Denver Broncos from the Los Angeles Chargers. This is a great plan B if Greg Dulcich is unable to remain healthy for the season.
