Setup Long Range PoE Switch to Extend IP Camera Range
The maximum range of POE is 328ft without adding the extension devices. The PoE network extenders can repeat the PoE network, but you will need to add the PoE network extenders to each cable if you have multiple long range connections. In this video, you will see the different solutions to extend the PoE up to 1500ft with constant cat5e or cat6 cable. The long range PoE switch can achieve up to 1500ft PoE or data network connection. There is no need to add the PoE extenders in the middle of the cable. It is the constant cable wiring to the edge device.
