Arx Pax introduced its Hendo Hoverboard last year that uses four hover engines to float on a special surface and the futuristic variant just got an update. The Hendo 2.0 version has improved battery life, better steering capabilities and the firm went back to its roots with a skateboard inspired design. Well-known skateboarder Tony Hawk (inset), has been working with the firm in designing a thinner form factor of the classic hoverboard. Arx Pax is also exploring other applications for its hover engines, which included biotechnology and transportation like the hyperloop.
