Update: Fuse no longer supports the Source Engine. Unless you can convert the other exports the website offers with its proper rig, do not bother with this.
However, please consider supporting F ReoM on Steam Greenlight as it promises to be a proper replacement for Fuse thanks to its support for Source.

The Fuse Character Creator became free and I decided to test it out after thinking about it all day. Here is my list of Pros and Cons.
Pros:
Customization is very flexible: You can even elongate and exaggerate all parts of the body.
It does not push your hardware temperature wise. I always keep an eye on my PC's temperature and they did not go up while running the program.
Download files have no strings attached to it like suspicious .exe files
Characters are rigged very similarly to the TF2 HWM models.
Cons:
Auto rigging uses WebGL, which can cause BSODs to some people.
There is a sad lack of make up style options. My character Diego wears panda eye styled eye shadow, but the only option was a very feminine style. How lame!
The face controls are found under the "Other" tab in the animation set. Characters will have to be lip synced manually (mouthing your dialogue and studying from yourself, mirror or no mirror, is strongly recommended).
Because of that, it is not recommended for SFM newbies until they grow their skill.
I do recommend this software for all OC-holics out there as long as you keep the cons in mind.
Diego is my character. Please do not use him for commercial perposes.
Voice is done by me with the help of Audacity.
