It has come to my attention that some of you don't know how to take candid photos. Especially of a stranger or someone that you don't know. And before you get all weird and you're like "why would you be taking photos of a stranger?"... I'm talking about if you're like at an event or a wedding or something and you're hired to be the photographer. Here are some key things to help you take better candid photos.
1. You need a long focal length on your camera. I do not want to see a wide angle lens on your camera when you're taking candids. The reason is because people shell up when they see that they're getting their photo taken.
2. Take 2 photos and then move on. If you take too many photos of one person, chances are very high they're gonna see you and they're just gonna feel weird about it. And it's really quick, they're really fast paced, you get the photo, get the moment and move on.
3. Make sure that you're visible as the photographer for multiple minutes beforehand just so people are used to the idea of getting their photo taken
